We are pleased to announce the 2026 edition of the DIADEM ACADEMY Summer School, dedicated to the integration of Artificial Intelligence in Materials Science. This year, the school will take place in the heart of the French Alps, in the vibrant scientific hub of Grenoble.
Target Audience:
- Doctoral students (PhD) & Postdoctoral researchers
- Young researchers in materials science, physics, chemistry or data science
- Scientists wishing to apply AI to materials researchand scientists in materials science, physics, chemistry, or data science who wish to apply AI to their research.

- Real-world Case Studies: From high-throughput synthesis to advanced characterization.
- Comprehensive Lectures: Introductory and advanced sessions on GNNs, active learning, and generative models.
- Intensive Hands-on Sessions: Mastering Linux, Python, and Machine Learning workflows.

Important Note on the Curriculum: Please note that this is an intensive, high-paced week covering a wide range of topics. To get the most out of the hands-on sessions, we strongly recommend that participants familiarise themselves a little bit with Linux and Python basics prior to the school.
