It is our great pleasure to inform you that the 4th Summer School “Catalysis: from understanding to applications”, integrating heterogeneous, homogeneous and electrocatalysis, will be held at IMT Mines Albi school (Albi city, France) during June 15-19, 2026.

The flyer of this summer school can be found in this link (available up to December 17, 2025): https://filesender.renater.fr/?s=download&token=8225dd30-7ff9-4f13-8ba7-49a357e12677

The objective of this Summer School is to present catalysis as a tool of preference for the development of sustainable processes, respectful to the environment. Catalysis is indeed at the heart of Green Chemistry: atom economy, selectivity and energy economy, transformation of raw materials into targeted products. The rational optimization of the efficiency of a catalyst requires a thorough knowledge of the reaction mechanism, in order to better identify the action levers. Nowadays, a wide range of techniques and methodologies, both experimental and theoretical, allows carrying out detailed mechanistic studies, essential in order to choose the most suitable approach for a specific problem. Catalysts come in a multitude of forms, ranging from atoms and molecules to nano-objects and complex structures such as zeolites or enzymes, which can be used in a variety of environments, such as in liquids, gases or supported on solids. This Summer School focuses on understanding how the catalytic processes take place, taking advantage of cutting-edge characterization techniques, modelling and design of reactors and processes. Participants are encouraged to submit posters, which will be also presented by flash communications.

Organized by Catalysis@Toulouse Group, this Summer School is particularly dedicated to PhD students, Post-docs, Master students, but also to academic and industrial engineers and researchers.

Online registration will be open from March 02 to April 30, 2026. For more information: https://schoolcat2026.sciencesconf.org/

Registration fees, including food (breakfast, lunch, diner) & coffee breaks during 5 days of summer school, and 7 days of accomodation in the student residence of IMT Mines Albi (20 m2 appartment):
